Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is an actor and comedian known for her dry comedy. The actress is April Ludgate, a character on the television show Parks and Recreation. The web series that she made her debut on was The Jeannie Tate Show when she performed improv, sketch and slapstick comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she was a part of Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and The World. Let's celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born in Wilmington Delaware. The father of her is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish as well as English. Plaza got her education from an all-girls Catholic school in 2002, and then the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University in 2006. As a high-school senior Plaza served as the President of the Wilmington Drama League and worked with her school's Student Government. In 2004 while she was in her second year of college Plaza suffered a stroke which caused expressive aphasia, as well as a prolonged period of paralysis. Now she is completely recovered. Since 2004, Plaza is performing sketch and improv comedy in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. In the same year, she played Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. The TV show Criminal Minds. The actress made an impressive appearance as the character in Season 12. One year later, it was confirmed that Plaza was set to be in the comedy indie An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
